At this year’s meeting, Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative is bringing an important decision straight to you, our valued members-owners. Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC) is asking for your input on a crucial vote: whether to exit from under the oversight of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) regulation or to remain under their authority. Two Great Ways to Register!
The time has come! CVEC cannot wait to see members at this year's 85th Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation Event! With something fresh and new for members to experience: a more convenient way to register and vote via drive-thru! Your vote and voice matter, so join in on all the fun on Saturday, August 17th, at the Firelake Arena in Shawnee starting at 9:30 AM. CVEC is offering fantastic door prizes this year, including bill credits and other exciting options. All members who register, either in-person or through the convenient drive-thru option, are eligible for the $500 district drawings and the $1000 bill credit. To qualify for all other prizes, members must register in-person and be present to win. Please take a look at the directions and map below to help navigate the convenient registration drive-thru option.
From Hardesty Rd., turn south on Old Rangeline Rd. drive beside the Firelake Bowling Ally, between the CVEC bucket trucks holding the American flag. Proceed south through the parking lot to utilize our convenient drive-thru option. Parking and the entrance for the in-person option will be located on the arena's north side.
