Anyone who has ever been a member (customer/consumer) of CVEC in a “Profit Year” is entitled to a capital credit disbursement at some point in the future as designated by the CVEC Board of Trustees. Capital Credits are each member’s share of the cooperative’s net margin, based on percentage of electricity used during the year they had active service. Currently CVEC has retired capital credits through 1991, along with our parent company, Western Farmers Electric Cooperative (WFEC), through 1998. If you are curious if you may have an unclaimed capital credit or are a rightful heir to an unclaimed capital credit, please search our database below. Should you find there is capital waiting for you, please contact Member Service at CVEC by calling 405.382.3680.
